There's a certain kind of dressing we've always loved — easy, unfussy, a little bit sun-warmed. The way you'd dress on a long weekend somewhere by the water. That feeling is what Olivia Allison is built around.
We started this brand because we kept buying clothes that almost worked. Almost the right cut. Almost the right fabric. Almost something we'd actually want to live in. So we figured we'd try making the things we wished already existed — and see who else was looking for the same.
How We Think About It
We're picky. Maybe annoyingly so. A piece has to feel right in your hand before we'll consider it, and even then we'll usually tweak something. The fit gets reworked until it's actually flattering, the fabric gets tested until it holds up, the small things — the stitch, the lining, the weight of a button — get attention they don't strictly need.
It takes longer this way. We're fine with that.
